
Melissa Dias-Mandoly is a writer, artist, and book designer living in Pittsburgh, PA. She currently works as the Design and Production Manager at the University of Pittsburgh Press.
She earned degrees in poetry and film at the University of Pittsburgh. As a student, she won the undergraduate poetry award in 2012 and 2013. She was offered a fellowship at The Home School and has been nominated for the Best of the Net anthology. She was a finalist for the Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship, Submerging Writer Fellowship, Jake Adam York prize, Noemi Press Book Award, and Driftwood’s Adrift Chapbook Contest.

Her poetry & artwork have been published in Pinwheel, FreezeRay, Cordella, Nat. Brut, Gesture, Hot Metal Bridge, PANK, Storm Cellar, and more. Her design work was selected to be part of the AUPresses Book, Jacket, and Journal Show in 2024 & 2019 and has been featured in Electric Lit, Lit Hub & Spine magazine.
